Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (750 ml)

Tasting Notes For Dog Point Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Pale straw. Bright, fresh, citrus characters predominate with subtle, riper tones of tropical fruit as well as jasmine and orange blossom details in the background. A crunchy palate bursting with pure grapefruit with juicy tropical fruit, saline texture and crisp, refreshing acidity. The low yields have meant generous concentration and a lengthy finish.

Critic Ratings

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Review - Rated 94:
The 2025 Sauvignon Blanc is textural and salty, savory and complex. I love this wine for its tether to place, but its elevation beyond it. It isn't overt in its styling, nor pungent in its aromas; it is classy—a sophisticated showing of the best attributes of the variety. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

James Suckling Review - Rated 94:
Aromas of grapefruit, brine, green olives and limes. Medium- to full-bodied, linear and vibrant, with definition. Restrained exuberance and a touch of salinity in the finish. 100% indigenous yeast fermentation. Impressive handmade wine considering the volume. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap.

Wine Spectator Review - Rated 93:
Complex and highly detailed, with notes of honeysuckle and lemon oil, plus touches of saline and grilled Meyer lemon. Yuzu, pomelo and citron flavors, along with lemongrass and fresh ginger, linger effortlessly on a sleek, mouthwatering frame. Drink now through 2036. 15,000 cases imported.
